Hard to say, this soon. Both movies sound good - perhaps whichever one gets the better review. Leaning towards penguins, though.
Mid to late June would be best - gives everyone enough notice in advance to make it, hopefully. Should we try to make this another dinner+movie event? Or just a movie this time? (I'd like to try the dinner combination again, provided we find a better restraunt this time around)

*Ears perk up* Maybe a better theatre too...
Roll with me! This is for if you like chinese only! ---I know a great place for chinese/oriental foods, called um...i forget what its called, but its delicious, and its on the way out to the Regal Cinema. Hong Kong King! thats what the restaurant is called. Very yummy place. Delicious sushi, delicious food, and its a buffet with other stuff too for those who don't like seafoods (they got you covered!). And its in route to regal so yeah..my 2 cents
If you don't like chinese food, just say nay!

I'm good for any day but Wednesday. That's when we have our marching band summer sessions. Yay, Penn! But I don't mind either movie. They both look pretty good to me.

Well, The Surf's up movie is already out. And with decent reviews, from what I've seen. Granted, that's only a newspaper, but still. (I'll check the web anyway, to be safe).
Point being, the end of the month is coming up. So, what dates could you make it for a movie? (and hopefully a dinner as well. Someplace better than Crossroads this time).
I can make any date, so long as I have a week's notice. How about everyone else?

yeah, we gotta get on the ball and start planning. yeesh. i'm good for the thirtieth as well. it looks like ratatouille is ONLY playing at painter's crossing and the regal by where funscape used to be. i'd be willing to drive, but it depends on what everyone else wants to do. (the times are: regal: 4:00, 7:00, 10:00; amc painter's crossing: 4:10, 7, 9:45) evan almighty, onthe other hand, is playing everryyywheeeere. we could do movies ten again, it's there at 4:50 5:20 7:10 7:40 9:40 10:10 people's plaza: 11:00 11:30 12:00 12:30 1:25 1:55 2:30 3:15 3:50 4:20 4:55 5:35 6:15 6:45 7:30 8:00 8:55 9:15 10:00 10:30 11:15 11:45 regal by funscape: 4:10 4:50 5:20 6:00 6:40 7:20 7:50 8:30 9:10 9:50 10:20 10:50 what do you guys think? i'mma post this on the lj group as well, and the mailing list. speaking of which, if you're not on the mailing list, get in touch with me!

So upon collaberating with both the Dragon-Fox and Reaux: We're going for a drive-in!! Specifically, this one: www.dsdit.com/ And not only does it have both Rataouille and Evan Almighty... but it has both back-to-back! And $8 admission, for the fur on a budget. It's been reccomended we carpool, just to keep ourselves entering it as a group. Items to bring include lawn chairs, food, drinks, blankets, and bug repellent. Especially the latter. Ideally, I'd like to make it a combination movie and dinner meet again, though with Crossroads not working out as well as planned, we'd need a better location. And less than a 2-hour wait inbetween the dinner and the movie (could have planned that better, but ah well). But I'm not exactly familiar with lower DE restruants. Though I'm told (by the dragonfox) that there's a Bella Villa, a Canton House, and a King Buffet. So cast your votes now! [disclaimer - there is no poll - you will actaully have to make a post]. And of course, we should have some provisions made for people who just want to eat at the theater, i.e. when they should meet us, and where, if there are any. So, we need to know who's willing to go, who's up for a dinner as well, and what they'd want for it. And we need to work this out within two days. So let's get to it. (my vote's for italian)
